The CAAC members only October Star Party is Cosmic Camporee! Come join us for camping, food, company, and hopefully clear skies on Saturday, October 10th. Hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert! Sunday morning we will break out the griddle for pancakes! RSVP to Jim Gaiser Jegaiser@gmail.com, Observatory Director, and let him know what you plan on bringing and how many in your party plan to come, so he can plan enough food.
During the day, weather permitting, we will have the solar telescope up and running, and if the skies stay clear for the night, all of the club’s astro binocular and visual telescopes will be available. This year, we have a new moon, planets, and the beginning of the Orionid meteor shower.
