Message summary: ...the flood warning continues for the following rivers in south carolina.. Congaree river at carolina eastman affecting calhoun...lexington and richland counties congaree river at congaree national park-gadsden affecting calhoun and richland counties saluda river at chappells affecting greenwood...newberry and saluda counties wateree river at lake wateree affecting fairfield...kershaw and lancaster counties .recent rainfall across the upstate and midlands along with upstream reservoir releases will continue to produce minor to moderate flooding at several river forecast points through the week. The flood warning continues for the wateree river at lake wateree.
* until friday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at 6 pm tuesday the stage was 100.0 feet.
* flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will slowly rise to rise to 100.2 feet early wednesday morning and remain around that stage through the day and then slowly fall. The river will fall below flood stage on thursday.
* at 100.5 feet...several yards and docks in low lying areas around lake wateree begin to flood.
* at 100.4 feet...the water begins to overflow one or more marinas along the northwest shores. The piers on the wildlife road bridge over singleton creek become submerged. &&
